Temporary Authorizations

When you click “submit order," you will see a pending transaction on your credit or debit card. This will post before your prescription is approved and your order shipped.

What you're seeing is just the pre-authorization. It does not become a posted charge until your order is approved shipped.

When is the authorization released?

After your order ships, the pre-authorization becomes a posted charge, and the word "pending" is removed. If you cancel your order for any reason, your card issuer will remove the authorization within 10 business days. Please contact your bank for more info about its authorization policies and timelines.

A pre-authorization caused an overdraft. What should I do next?
