If I don't know my blood pressure, can I still get a prescription?

Since taking birth control when you have high blood pressure can be risky, we do need to know your blood pressure measurement before we can prescribe. Not to worry, though–it’s easy to get your blood pressure measurement. If you saw a doctor recently, the office probably has your reading on file, and would be happy to tell you over the phone or send you a visit record. If not, most pharmacies–like CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid–have automatic blood pressure machines that you can use for free!
